Brain Cancer
In Aug. 1983, I felt dizzy, nauseous and started vomiting. I couldn't walk properly. My eye sight also droped dramatically. In the hospital, the CT scan indicated that I had brain tumor. In Dec. 1983, I started to practice Crane, A week later, I felt better and could feel Qi in Laogong acupoint. After 2 weeks, my eye sight started to recover. The digest system also improved. The vomiting stopped after 1 month practicing Crane. In Sept. 1984, I went back to the hospital for check up. The doctor said the symptoms disappeared. My life backed to normal. Now I still keep practicing Crane, feel healthy and confident.
Chang TaoInjury
Many years ago I fell when playing soccer and had bone fracture in my left thumb. A few months later, my thumb injury healed. Then I noticed my left thumb lost the flexibility and could only bend slightly compare to my right thumb.
To my surprise, I started to hit my left thumb with my right hand during the meditation when the spontaneous movement started. After a couple months, my left thumb flexibility was recovered to be the same as my right thumb.
I realized that a blockage was created in my left thumb when the injury occurred, which remained after the bone fracture healed. The hitting in the spontaneous movement removed the blockage and restored the flexibility for my left thumb.

Lower Back Issue
I have a compressed vertebrae from a fall on the ice years ago. But after a lengthy treatment at the hospital, it had not bothered me until about a year ago. Whenever I sat or stood up too long, an excruciating pain would run along my back.
Also I have a chronic digestive problem with my stomach, and when I am blocked, I would have a pain in my stomach and at my back. The top part of my body seemed so heavy. I had trouble holding myself up and I became more and more bent. My doctor said the trouble was gas and he prescribed a pill for reducing stomach acid. This took away the pain fro a while.
Someone introduced me a discipline called Crane. The theory is that there are channels through which an inner energy (Chi) flows through the body. But for some reason or other, sometime a blockage occurs in the channels, impeding the proper function of the organs and causing pain. The movements of Crane are specifically designed to break up and remove the blockages wherever they may occur, thus allowing the Chi to flow freely and enabling the internal organs to function normally.
Crane consists of five routines. After learning and doing the first routine for six weeks, I could stand and walk straight without pain. Experience has shown that Crane is a better and effective alternative to build up inner energy and eliminate many health problems.

In recent years, the lower back pain started to bother me. I had to visit the Emergency one day at midnight due to the back pain. During the Spontaneous Movement, I noticed that I was pressing certain points at my lower back. To my surprise, the lower back pain was gone after 4 months practice.

Due to work related stress and pressure, I have suffered from crippling acid reflux, and gastrointestinitis. This condition has existed for almost 10 years. I have practiced martial arts for 30 years, and in the last 3 years, began studying internal martial arts, namely QiGong. Some techniques brought me some relief, but this year I began studying Crane Qigong. Within 5 weeks, I began to notice some relief in my stomach, and also, began noticing involuntary shaking when I practiced the routines. My instructor told me, that was the Qi working it’s way through the blockages in my channels.
Now it’s been 5 months since I began practicing Crane QiGong, and my stomach problems are virtually gone. Also, the cysts I had from being injured when sparring, are almost completely gone. My instructor noticed that my shaking has been reduced to just a gentle waving when I practice. He told me that means my channels have opened up, and my health has been restored.
Lastly, I always knew Qi could be a healer. I had no idea it could also be a teacher!

I had stomach illness many years ago. After visiting doctors for a few years, I still felt pain in the stomach. Then I started practicing Crane. To my surprise, my stomach problem disappeared after 2 months practice.
3 years ago, I suffered a more serious stomach issue due to the stress over family tragedy. My stomach ache was very serious. And I lost 20 pounds in 3 months. I knew that I was in serious trouble and stepped up the practice. After 6 months intensive practice, my stomach ache disappeared. And I started to gain weight. I was also surprised to notice my back pain was gone, which has bothered me for 10 years due to the long hours working on the computer.
